DEFI Test Question

I can't install my gauge tonight because I need fuse taps. But I wanted to see it glow. So I grabbed a 9 volt battery and put the wires on the terminals, but only the Dlink lit up, the gauge did nothing. Is there something wrong with the gauge or will it not work this way

The gauge needs a 12V power supply - I tested mine by hooking it to a car's jump points at work, but the B+ & B- terminals on the car's battery will work just as fine.

Also, I just tested mine & posted my results in the "how to install a boost gauge thread".

I got it installed now but what is everyones vacuum reading. I see 20, but my old MSP was like 25
