Own a Red MS3... if I were to get my stock wheels powder coated what color?
Anything a newb should be aware of- maintenance, cost, quality, etc. (dunno)?
Thanks all!
Any of you have pics? I'd love to see!

remember cheap isn't always good...unless of course it's a hook up...
Kardinal (i think they spell it with a K) makes a good PC...and a lot of shops use that company...
good luck...and color...that's all you man...

I just found out a long time friend's father owns a shop. We were watching an autoX race and I turn to him and said "Really?! What all these years and you never told me!?" Now one of the other members on this forum got a quote for approx $300 a wheel i believe so he bagged the idea ... $50 / wheel surprises me.

On a red car you could do several colors and I think it would look good: Black, gold/bronze, gunmetal. I'm sure the $300 was for four wheels. Years ago I got my Prelude's wheels done for $35 a wheel, but there's probably no chance of getting it done that cheap anymore. I would say $75/wheel is fair.

depending where you live...due to economics...you could end up paying $75 to $125 for basic PC...if you want any trick colors...double the price...
and remember these prices might even go up than what youre used to due the gas crisis...

i would definately go with the gunmetal or black PC. aftermarket, i myself would prolly do gold with chrome lip. i love how that looks on red cars.

its really up to the skill of the shop and how much you want to drop. I had to bring the wheels to the guy without any tires on them. I don't know how most places do their stuff, but the place I went to was real small, only one guy doing the work. I got mine PC'd flat black for $200 for all 4.
