Had Pella windows salesmen at the house yesterday

One of them arrived in an 08 GT in black.

Of course I asked him about his purchase. Turns out he drove several of the competitions offerings, and despite his kids prefering the Flex (due mostly to the ent. system) he prefered the 9 by far, and bought it.

His only complaint was the little factory "mud flaps" keep coming off and have to be popped back on regularly. Anyone else have that problem?

Nope, haven't had that problem. I have to wonder what exactly he is doing to get them to come off the car.

I also drove the Flex. When you sit in the driver's seat, the hood is soooo long, like a Mustang. It also doesn't have quite the same pickup or handling as the CX-9. However, it does come standard with a blind spot monitoring system and is quite stylish. For me, it came down to the pricing offered on my CX-9 that sealed the deal. The Flex won't have similar discounts for quite some time.
