Those are not bad. If you are looking for a real cheap fix, just weld the crack. It will do the job for a while...

Take the car to a good shop and have it welded, don't need to take off the manifold . Make sure they heat the manifold to about 300 and then weld.

You cannot weld cold cast iron. The heat allows the weld to hold. Call Mack at emerald performance 954-578-0465. He did the work on my P5

JB weld would be useless. Either get it done correctly by someone that has fixed exhaust manifolds before or pony up the $$$ for one of the overpriced pieces.

I understand your situation but JB Weld products temp range are 300-500 degrees. You'd be wasting your time and money as the exhaust manifold temp will go well above that. There have been a few stock pieces for sale on here lately. Msphtown has a thread now with one.

You cannot weld cold cast iron. The heat allows the weld to hold. You can weld it...you just have to preheat it as a special requirement as you have said..
..Just wanted to verify that so no one gets confused.

The only people confused are the ones that have been saying for years that you cannot. And they know who they are.

The N/A header does not fit the MSP turbo flange !!!! And yes you can weld cast iron. I am now running the stock MSP manifold with a welded external flange that fits the turbonetics wastegate.

I don't see why welding it is an issue. It should cost you too much either. Get it done and don't bother with the JB weld shit. If you go to a local shitty muffler shop they should be able to do it for dirt cheap, In fact if you talk to one of the mechanics He'll must likely do it for a cas of MGD and $25.00 cash.
I've done that before with a few pieces. Here in Chicago they have muffler shops on every corner. I just find the dirtiest and most empty one and look for the guy with the bigest beer belly, and work a deal. For me if he's hispanic it's a bonus cause I can speak to him in our language!!

Cool dude, you try again to weld on cast iron.....until you can do..... if you can't that means nobody can weld on it...........is it clear........cool

cast Iron can be welded. But for the material to remain Maleable (non-britle) a nickel filler metal has to be used, and the only truely reliable method to use is TIG welding.Just like the "welded msp LSD".
