A couple deep cuts from my hand slipping off a wrench while tightening/loosening a bolt. Enough to make me drop a couple 'f' bombs and kick my winter car.

hahaha, no it didn't. that would have been fucked up though. hahaha.

seriously though, the only injuries i've endured are small cuts to my hands and arms and one on my shoulder.

i had a dumb ass friend that got crushed by his car once.

he was at my house changing his oil and he jacked up the car did not use jack stands or wheel chalks. LOL my driveway is slanted .. he is such a idiot.

car rolls back a little when he tries to get his drain plug off and the engine just crushes his chest ... all i heard was "ahhhh" ... and then just short breaths of "he .. lp" ... "help". At that time i only had the spare tire jack and i was trying my best to turn that sucker up .. hahaha .. after i about 10 secs .. i realize he was gonna die by the time i jack this thing up .. so i used my muscles to lift his car up as much as possible and he was able to squeeze out. Hes lucky he was skinny enough not totally get crashed and be able to squeeze out. It was very serious then .. but now i just laugh at it because he was an idiot.

well back to topic ... mainly cuts on my hand that i don't realize till i was off all the grease and dirt.

I split my finger open pretty deeply while doing the spin-on oil filter conversion. Ironically it happened the night before my fingerprinting appointment.

A few scratches, some bruises, and mild electrocution. Although the "mild" electricution happened on my last car. Never again will I not pay attention to where I place my hands while holding a wrench.

Someone get some stats on how many people die each year changing their own oil. I'll bet it's in the hundreds.

From past experience working on my 01 Focus...I've had several cut knuckles, burned hand from exahaust manifold, (skin burns and smells icky)
dirt in my eye from working underneath my car.... Since then, I've learned to use mechanix gloves, wear coveralls, and use protective glasses while working on my cars.

Live and learn... lol I've learned a lot from a dummy,(me) and I got an extra pair of mechs gloves in case I need a hand with something. =)
