cutting out cat converter(s) ???

Is the 02 sensor before or after our cat converter? I want to cut mine out for a little more HP and was wondering if this would cause a problem with the ECU / CEL ???

its after the cat....so yes, it will cause a CEL if the o2 sensor isnt in there. There is an o2 bung in the J pipe that you can use but you'll need to use the spark plug non fouler trick in order to keep from tripping a CEL

also, what kinds of gains in sound / performance would there be in doing this mod?
