Its time for a new pair, regardless of the brake light. However, once i get the car into the mechanic shop, they will further diagnose and do the brake job.

I m more concerned with safety and do know that my brakes are ready to be changed.

Please let me know whether the ceramics match up well with the Black E coated rotors

Yes it is best to have the same pads all around. It won't damage the car but as far as performance the brakes wont perform their best.

Looking to order front and rear Centric Premium rotors as well as some decent, yet quiet pads for my 2001 Protege ES (daily driver). What do you recommend for the pads? I also need 3 quarts of Redline MT-90.

One more thing...totally unrelated, but I figure I'd ask the experts @ Tri-Point. My car like several other Proteges on this board pulls slightly to the right. It's been aligned twice and even with a new set of rims/tires it still pulls right. Ever experience anything like this..any tips?
