whats the part # for stock turbo so i can try to find one?

You want the T25-BB. I cross checked their model # with the Garrett web site. Same turbo.

You wont find it anywhere other than Mazda with that number..and for About $1900 as well.

Go on garrett's web site and look up small frame turbo. TURBO # GT2554 PART#471171-3

email precision turbo and engine; they'll probably have justin norris take care of you. chatted with him for a bit and he's a mazda guy. they'll ask you if your turbo uses a standard GT25R exit flange and the answer is yes. You'll also need to let him know that your compressor outlet needs to be articulated in the same direction as the turbine outlet when they assemble it for you. PT&E makes the GT series of turbos for garrett.

I just had mine warrantied, my car sat in the shop for 2 1/2 months waiting for that turbo. I feel your pain man.
