msp turbo not spooling...

my turbo isn't spooling...i took off the intake pipe and the pipe that runs into the intercooler. the turbine turns fine...i haven't checked to see if there was any play in it yet...didn't have time this morning. the pipe that runs to the intercooler had oil all over the inside of it and there was a puddle of oil inside the turbo housing where the pipe is. i know i have a bad exhaust leak, but i haven't had this problem. i drove my car to work and it was fine, then at lunch it wasn't spooling. any ideas?

uhhhhh turbo is craped out bud. The internals are borked............ Mine is at mazda right now getting a new one put in because of those same symptoms... wouldnt spool right, oil everywhere . verdict = bad

Same here bud, oily lines,smoke coming from exhaust, 1 quart of oil every week, no spool = bad turbo

wrd! clearly bad turbo with oil everywhere and no boost.

Edit: Nca hook it up with the front lip if you do.
