I've been looking around and there are quite a few part for the protege in the US, where there are NONE to be found where I live.

What I've had my eye on is some exhaust parts.
But, since I haven't had a good look at the construction of my standard exhaust, I'm a bit lost regarding what parts to get.

The cat-back system; is this directly from the cat and backwards or from the pipe with the cat connected??
What I'm unsure of, is if I buy a cat-back exhaust, do I need the midpipe also? There is a midpipe on protege garage with a high flow cat as well. And I do want to change the cat to a better flowing one...!
All these parts, are they pure plug and play?? The midpipe has three bolt holes in the exhaust header end...! The manifold I've got only has two...

My car is a 99 protege 4-door sedan

Hope someone can help
thanks

if you buy right car back it just plug and play but if you get a highflow cat you might have to do some custom fittings
