View Full Version : Alpine unit or stock?

I have an 05 M3. I had an alpine unit in my old car and controlled the ipod from it. Does the stock unit have an ipod plug for it or should I just install my alpine unit? I like the look of the stock, but love the use of my ipod in the car.

yes, the ipod hookup is done through the Aux (found in the area under the arm rest in the middle). If you want Ipod control, they make some harnesses that can be plugged into the Aux/Sat radio hookup. Someone else will have to chime in for that as I don't have one.

Hmm...I was unable to find that. I don't think mine has an Auxiliary input...maybe I can install one?
