I did some searching, but couldn't find it. On the MSP EGR tube, the side connected to the intake manifold, what size flare wrench is needed?

If you're looking for a wrench that will grip anything without slipping, you may want to consider buying one of thise: http://www.irwin.com/irwin/consumer/jhtml/detail.jhtml?prodId=IrwinProd100328. I tried using a flare wrench on a stuck brake line flare nut, and it stripped the nut. I bought two of these Irwin wrenches, the smallest one fits the brake line flare nut, and it broke the nut loose without any issues. It was worth the investment.

I thought I heard it was 21 mm, does that sound right?

Do like livelyjay suggested, it works. I used a pair of vise grips and a piece of pcv tubing as a breaker to get off an egr tube after soaking the nuts with liquid wrench.

I thought you were going to make a new tube and were going to flare it
