Hi, I got Racing Beat Springs for My 00 ES to replace the OEM ones. I read about "Trimming" the OEM stop bumps or getting the ones designed for use with the springs. I want to know if its really necessary to trim or replace them.
thanks in advance

Not "necessary", but a good idea. Basically, it will allow the suspension to travel further in compression before "bottoming out".

I have the msp springs sitting in my garage that i want to put on my 99' lx. How much did the bumps run you? Also, let me know how the drop looks.

each bump cost me 17 dollars ><; and as for the look the front looks taller than back, :( back of the car looks killer! but front looks weird. I'll clean it tomorrow and post some pictures in the afternoon.
****EDIT***
I uploaded the picture dont mind the filthy car. oh n btw I just realise i installed the bump stops upside down should i take them out again and fix them? or it doesnt matter what way they are?

yeah it's normal for the front to be higher with these springs on the N/A protege's. Looks good especially in the second pic. I'm gonna have to do this soon. Did you install the springs yourself? If so, how long did it take you? Also, where did you purchase the bumps from?

my friend installed them, it took him like from around 11 until 1 that was taking breaks and fooling around. I need to take the front ones out again since we installed the bump backwards. I bought the bumps from some authorized dealer from mazda. 17 dollars each, but I think you can get them from onlinemazdapart for like 8 dollars each. the par # is BN7H-34-111 those are the MSP bumps :)
Is there any way to lower it a bit more from front? changing struts maybe??

Changing out the struts won't affect ride height unless your old struts are blown in which case you would be sitting as low as you can go with your springs.
Give the springs a week or two to settle and you'll see a difference in how the car sits. there was a huge difference in how mine looked just a week after.
having said that, the car looks nice man. now you just gotta get yourself some rims and possibly a lip for the front (i dunno what lips there are for that gen.)

it doesnt matter about the stops, the racing beat dont drop that much, and ull probly want to go lower later.
