Is there a how to on changing the wastegate Actuator?? i need to change out mine can anyone help??

Some of the stuff in the how to is kinda overkill..... i did mine in about an hour and a half and never took the mani or the turbo off. i think the only thing i had to remove was the hot pipe from the stock smic to get at the little nuts. that and actually the j-pipe. those are the only two things. the little c-clamp deal can be reached from uder the car. patience is key.

You can also find detailed instructions thanks to Ken in the forums protegegarage section by opening up the MSP wastegate pdf.

IIRC, only thing I had to remove was the heat shield and the WGA itself. It took me closer to 2 hours .. but having little hands helps to get into all those tight spots. ;)

it takes me approx 30 mins.. if that.. i can contort the hell outta my hand though.. plus i have long fingers .. hehe

You can check to see if its FUBAR w/out removing it.
Just blow into the vac line, see if it leaks (at least to check the diaphragm).
