I've been patiently waiting for the 09 models to come out since the lease on my 07 cx-7 is up in early september.

Shouldn't they be out already? or at least any bit of information?

If anyone knows anything, please chime in as your info would be greatly appreciated.

I think the Motor Trend new model preview issue said that all CX-7's will get an aux. input jack...that's about 2 years too late!

I've read that Mazda has an "all new" 2.5L I4 engine. Not sure if the CX 7 will get it but, hope so in a turbo version.

Suburban Motors in Detroit as 09's. They get the leather wrapped steering wheel, ipod aux input and heated seats standard. I sat in one last week. Pretty sharp. They still have the all plastic inside door panel but pretty sharp inside. The S also gets the upgraded temp control, at least the knobs look nicer. My 07 sport AWD had the crappy manual temp control.

No 2.5L with a turbo for the 2010 CX-7.

The 2009's have upgraded fog light housing with chrome accents, aux jack, LED turn signals in side view mirrors, leather steering wheel and shit knob standard on Sport models, illuminated vanity mirrors, Bluetooth as part of the Bose Audio / moon roof package and painted shinny wheels on the GT's, just like the CX-9 GT's.

Took delivery of my 09 black on black GT cx-7 today. They made many subtle changes for the better. It came prewired with sirius and an aux jack in the center console, next to the power outlet. I haven't been able to test it yet since I don't have the required cord, but will tomorrow. Bass sounds deeper, turn signal mirrors look really nice, bluetooth works really seamless and easy so far with excellent voice recognition. Having sirius, aux jack and bluetooth along with the already impressive tech package hard to beat especially for the money. Now if only we could get a hybrid model...
