well drove about 30 min to wrestling training. the car sat for about 1.5 hours. i go to start it, i turn the key to on, the radio flashed and goes black, then i tried to start it and nothing, it doesnt even try to turn over. i take the key out, then put it bak in and turn yo the on posistion. the radio or air does hnot come on but the lights still work, i tried to jump it with my friends elantra but that didnt work so now my car is sitting in a desrted parking lot on a dark back road 30 min from my house. i guess the only one who could steal it is a mechanic.
fyi 2 days ago i installed an aem cai, it ran perfect for those 2 days so idk
thanks

check the fuses , something might have burnt on your ride to your training , has it rained ? might have hydroloced but i doubt it . but also the starter might have shitted out

it rained this morning but i didnt go in any puddles or anything i know its not hydro locked for sure but it might be a fuse. my air/fuel guages power source is the fuse for the radio in the fuse box on the drivers side but i wouldnt think that would mess with the ignition or anything

What does the voltage on the batt. read?? Btw I would not feel comfortable leaving my car unsupervised for that long in a sketchy area as you describe... They may not be able to steal it but they could always strip it for parts.

nothing turns on so i cant see what the voltage is and yeah i dont like leaving it there any more than the next guy but i dont have a tow truck handy so i have no choice. tomorrow im going down there to test the fuses and if i cant figure it out theres an auto shop conviently next door.

Just hook a volt meter to the batt. terminals

I have had the same problem. Due to the alarm system. It sometimes goes crazy and causes things like this to happen. Did you try engaging it with your remoted until the car beeps. Then unlock it and try to start it.
