I have a 01 protege lx. I hit a curb back in the winter and had to replace a rim now i got my tires rotated and i noticed a weird vibration at speeds over 60mph upon further inspection i noticed the front drivers rim has a flat spot. I only have the stock steel rims that came with the car and since i dont have to replace the control arm also this time im going to upgrade to aftermarket rims but i cant figure out the size the tires the car has now are p195-55-r15, but i dont know the width of the rims could anyone tell me? I would sort of like to improve handling do you think i should get 16inch rims? and what rim width would be best without having any rubbing or the tires sticking out of the wheel well?

According to that I need +42mm to +48mm offset, which sounds about right I think I remember hearing something like that anyway. Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.
