Car idles fine, vacuum is normal but it seems like when I go into boost, 1 out of 5 times it hessitates horribly to the point that the car feels like its pulling a truck, and then finally goes after 4-5krpms, but then shift and the same thing happens.
I checked for the VICS and VCTS to make sure they werent stuck, but the problem is still there.

Finally today I got the P2009 CEL, so Im thinking a leaky intake manifold gasket can cause this? I tried searching and there is a few people with the same symptons, but I coulndt find any solutions.

I get that too after a long drive. It looks as if boost is fine...but it creeps up in rpms like a snail! I've cleaned my MAF recently and it has pretty much stopped. I'm also gonna change my spark plugs and wires this weekend and I'm hopeing this will help with some of the problems too.

Do have a WB? What figures do you see ? I thought my SS was tuned perfect. But after installing the WB, and did some extra data logging, there were a few spots that were lean in the 4k to 5k range.

Going to try sea foam
Going to try MAF cleaning
Going to try new wires / plugs

Those are my next things to try. hehe

So pretty much have lost all symptoms as before. Cleaned MAF, changed wires and plugs. She drives perfectly now!! Unfortunately i think I blew my fuel pump Saturday night. Bummer. Gotta order a replacement from mazda. i don't have enough upgrades to get the Walbro 255lph. Hopefully it's not too expensive.
