check engine light..bov?

i just purchased a 03 msp...the car is pretty much stock with the exception of a greddy bov. would this be a reason for the check engine light coming on...something to do wit the maf???? thanks

go to autozone and have them pull the code...

it could be a bad bov, when i bought my msp it had a hks bov and it went bad the first night i had it and it threw an engine light also, that and if the last owner moved the maf.
