this was years back now, i have this on my hard drive. i remember when it was a real big deal, i got chewed out by another board member for even bringing it up for fear the owner wouldn't be able to get his insurance money. must be nice to totally jack up your ride doing something stupid and get the insurance companies to cover it.

i did this exact stunt with a 1990 corolla going downhill at 70 MPH in third gear..

but the hill was steep as fuck.. i didn't even know about it...

i landed 24 feet later ( mesured)

the suspension bushings carved in the tarmac, the flexible briaded exaut part was fucked and almost grinded in half,

i needed to front wheel bearings


and when i landed it poped out of third...


oh yeah and the oil pan was busted with pieces of tarmac stuck on the drain plug




the car still ran 2 years after that with no problem

Looks like these jackasses knew what they were doing. Taking a dry run before lauching. If this abused MSP doesn't end up in the junkyard soon it will probably show up on a used car lot for some unsuspecting buyer.
Buyer beware!!! Not everyone loves their MSP.
