Hows it going. I have an 02 protege dx 2.0. the cat broke up and I need to replace it. The factory cat is $1059. OUCH!!!!! I found a listing for a universal from Maremont Exhaust. Has anyone had good luck with Using a maremont universal Vs. the OE? Bytheway, its the rear cat under the car.

just go to a local exhaust shop and have them weld in a replacement cat (dunno)
