RX-8 w/ 235/40/18 on stock suspension rubs

I got a noice slice today going over some RR tracks I've never had a problem with before, even after I got this setup. Just the wrong time on the gas at the wrong place on the tracks.

I think I'm gonna have to roll the fenders now.

Full specs: 18x8 +50et, 235/40/18 Yokohama S-drive, stock suspension, driver and no passengers, no cargo.

Well, it looks like I should bust out my roller before mounting tires on my RX-8s then...I'm planning to go with 235/40R18s as well.

Was it an honest to God SLICE? or more of a "scuff"? I'm also assuming it was in the rear...
