Loud Fuel Injectors

Ok, I Know there are many topics on the Mazda tick. I have done a lot of reading and searching and looking at my own situation. I think its my fuel injectors making the noise. Has any one else had this issue? Any suggestions? Its loud enough to hear when the hood is down. I owned a Miata before and it had a tick too but not like this, This is much louder.

your engine makes ticking sounds? mine does its pretty loud as well, and if im not mistaken isnt the ticking sound the valves?

I don't think its fast enough for the valves. Figure the valve tick would be faster then a FI tick. Given that the valves are opening and closing at a faster rate then the FI

Not always..Injectors do "tick".

My MSP used to be noisy as well at idle with ticking.

yes its an idle issue too, is there something I can do about it? I doubt they need cleaning and they should be operating well given my good MPG, so i don't think they are Malfunctioning per say but it bugs the hell out of me.

Force fed, you said they use to tick. Does that imply you fixed it? Or did you get rid of the car? Upgrade injectors to larger ones(not really an option for me since I am staying NA and want the car for mileage).

Sold the Car...and i always ticked...New....Both motors and at 30K miles when I sold it.
