do you have to make holes in your car to put on side skirts? or can it just be held on w/ 3m double sided tape and those screws on the wheel wells?

you MIGHT be able to use the tape, but it will be much more secure with the clips and holes.

use the clips and holes. like njarmeka said it'll be much more secure. i know i'd rather be safe knowing the money i just put out for skirts is not gonna fall off and become road kill driving down the road....that's my opinion.

my HID ballast are held on purely by 3m double sided tape, is that a bad thing then?

i just dont like making permanent things to my car like drilling holes in it

HID ballasts are much different than side skirts. Your ballasts aren't gonna fall off and get destroyed on the highway. Not quite sure as to how the comparison even makes sense.

hmmmmmm didnt think about that much

HID ballast are more expensive kinda? maybe they could fall into my engine bay and break or something

my home depot lip is held on w/ 3m double sided tape

i've seen side skirts only held on with the fender clips, and the center side sections were saggy - looked bad.

i'd secure my hid ballast with more than tape! i'd rather be safe than sorry...

if you do it right, its fine. i've had mine secured with 3m double sided stuff for two years now, and still fine.
