Hello all... So as the title reads, i installed my BC coilovers, AWR endlinks, and Cobb sways this weekend...(drive2)

These things are great! I was hoping for half of what i got. I am running full stiff on sways, 14 from soft in the front and 16 from soft in the back on the coilovers, and the endlinks are set to the factory.

A couple of notes though... People with 18x8.5 48 offset... the bracket that hold the abs sensor out of the way will bite! Secondly, thanks to Josh at Import Images!! Dude, you rock!

Here are a few pics of the install and the results...

I really havent driven a lot, but the cornering that i have done is freakin great... The car is so much more neutral than before. The road noise and comfort have gone down a little, but honestly i thought that it would be a lot worse. Maybe at the higher settings it would be, but it wasnt near as drastic as i thought... As a matter of fact it wasnt near as drastic as the Derlin Dogbone that i installed.

And here are a few more pics...

Nice man! What size tires are you running and how much do you have left to lower on the coils?

I'm running 235/40/18 Toyo T1R's on 18x8.5 5zigen ProRacer N+

The fronts are just about as low as they will go. The backs are pretty much as low as they will go.

Honestly though, i wouldnt lower it anymore for my DD. Any lower and i would have real problems in this state...the state of speed bumps everywhere! I come from St. Louis, MO...no speed bumps anywhere...

My room mates RX-8 is running BC's and wow! His set up is freakin awesome. I personally think that i like the ride in my car better because ever time i get out of his i feel like i need a chiropractor!

Dude, save the money on the TBE and just get the PG mani and Corksport DP... I have them and love the exhaust note now. I was going to put together a TBE, but after hearing my set up now... I'm staying stock for the time being...

So the ride quality is pretty harsh with these? :( What to go on the wide wheels! I definetly going 8.5 wide! I take it you rolled your rear fenders?

Actually, i personally dont think that it's harsh, but if you would think it's harsh...there are 13 lower settings that you could play with...

I had already rolled the fenders in anticipation of this install. That process was not hard at all. It just took time, a heat gun, and a roller that i rented from SU...

well i might have found my coilover suspension then. Is any modification needed to be able to use the camber plates/install the BC's. Like drilling/cutting etc.

yup, but it is so simple a cave man could do it(eyeballs)

in all seriousness... all you need is a 3" hole saw and a drill...preferably one with charged batteries (nuts)...yeah i forgot to charge them the night before... Anyway, it really only took about 3 minutes to cut the hole.

GhostMercury

but cutting the hole is the horrible part. I dont want to hurt my baby

IMPORTIMAGE

dont think of it as hurting...think of it as improving upon ones handling...or a facelift haha

yes, i got an alignment, but i think that i want to run a little less camber in the back...2.5 in the back

the front is about 1.5, but that is pretty much as little as you can get out of it...i'm guess that the max camber is...(dunno)...a lot i am sure...

damn...thats way too much in the back...u dont want more that -1.5 in the back...its gonna be too hard to get u rear to swing out imo....and the front when u mean as little...meaning theres alot more - camber to go?? im hoping to get -2.5 in the front....-1 in the rear.....my bc coilover is coming on monday....wish me luck...(thumb)

my thoughts exactly, but when i installed the camber arms....well, i really did extend them out because i wanted to see how much i was going to get out of the rear....

you should be able to get plenty of camber in the front...but then again i have never auto-x'd (which i'm figuring is why you want the camber) so i really dont have that kind of mind set...(bang)
