Here is some progress we had today the kit is very well made an fits will.

The fender are made to fit the door to fender line is good with no modding it

Rear bumper cover is on an it fit well

The front cover is just setting on it with one of the 2001 light an the old 2000 light just to check the general fit of bumper.

Here is the side view of it with all the piece on.
This has not taken long for use to hang the part they were made good an finding the right places to drill a snap. Will add more pic as it is finshed

paintings hard. i tried painting this cabinet with spray paint, and had drip fail.

Not diggin' the fenders at all.

And your definiton of "Fits Good" and mine are two totally different things I guess?

I didnt think the fender or the rear bumper fit well at all.

But your progress looks great.

The fender fit good ib sence there was not alot of shimming an trimming of the fender to do. The hood in these pis is just setting on it.

i would've painter the whole car one color, then paint paint over with the other color

The paint is PPG Del-star. It is 2 colors cause I used some paint I had left over from other cars I did. Didn't have the money let over to get the paint color an product I wanted to use. This is my sons car an he is 19 an is hurry to have it back. I have a 1989 Suzuki swift GTi im building but will use Base coat clear coat on it.

Oh...so this is as single stage PAint..That would explain to me what I was seeing.

How about a Break line/Pinstripe to seperate the colors?

Yep one stage paint an not done in a both it was done in my garage. It wouldn't be buff for awhile if it is done at all. The pin stripe will be added later. This is my sons car an he is in a hurry to get it done an didn't want to spend the time that need to be done there is alot of things I would have spent the time an done. It is done so he can drive it an when he want to redo it we will use better paint an maybe an candy color.

Funny..I am thinking of adding a Candy Red to the top of my Silver P5 for a two tone effect..I am preppin my car for paint right now.
Hopefully it will be shot next weekend.

You going to spray the repair spots with silver an then use a red tinted clear to give you a candy style paint. Should look nice depending on how many coats you put on it. Are painting it your self or taking it some where?

No..The whole Car is Getting Resprayed the Stock OEM silver..I am still up in the air whether or not to Two tone the upper.

I am spraying it myself.
