yeah you can tell everything from the VIN but I dontk nwo the breakdown anymore.....

There are no "trim" levels of the P5 in the U.S. All P5s are on par with the ES trim level of the Protege sedan. Everything else are just extras such as:

Leather Interior
ABS
Side Airbags (to my knowledge are always included with ABS)
6 Disc CD Changer Headunit
Cassette Player
Sunroof
etc.

Most of these things are more easily determined by oneself.

doesn't the p5 only come in 1 trim? or are you wondering about options. if i recall correctly, the p5 was basically equivalent to the ES sedan in terms of trim level.

It was all standard in the P5 except for the above.

Im failing to see the point of why you need to know?

Thx. Im trying to sell and a buyer was trying to get a loan and the loan company wanted to know the trim. I was like huh?? I didn't think there was one either but the place was like "Is it an LX EX DX....?"

Yeah...There were no specific trim levels just options.
