Hey guys, I was surfing around a few months ago and came across a thread that I foolishly did not bookmark. It had a link to a shop manual with timing belt change instructions. I bought the kit and was going to attempt to change the belt this weekend, but could really use those instructions. Been searching for a couple days off and on and have been unable to find that thread again.
Anybody have that link?
Thanks.

Not sure if you meant the alldatadiy, but if so, msp03 is the user and password.

Ok, I don't blame you for changing it then, I've been thinking about doing it (70K) for a while now. I saw a VW that waited to long at a friends shop and the final bill was scary!

we have non interference engines, so if it goes the car just wont run and you'll just have to get the timing belt done...
the VW probably had an interference engine and if the timing goes on that then its a mess...

I must of misread something on here because I thought we had the timebomb setup. But yes that VW needed most of its valves replaced in addition to the belt.
Either way I've got a rubber belt that is old in years and miles. I don't plan on waiting too much longer before I crack it open.

many speculated we had an interference engine but its been confirmed over and over that we do not so if it goes, its no biggie :)

No parts, so it ain't going on this weekend. My car buddy is on vacation the weekend after that, and then my life gets crazy. Maybe I'll do a how-to in a month.
