Gabe, our web specialist, just picked up a 2006 MX-5

Keep in mind that is the day he got it

It will be lowered on wheels this coming week

I know this isn't exactly a mazda3 or mazda6, but this will be our display car for all the latest wheels for Mazdas :)

I bet some 18x8.5 Rota SVN in Matt Black would look great on it ;)

So after only 3 days of ownership, I've already made some changes. Suspension was installed (Eibach) and wheels were put on as well.

Here's the stats on the wheels;
17x7.5 Rota Boost in gold on driver's side
17x7.5 Rota SVN in full royal sports bronze on passenger side (my personal fav)

Bronze for sure

Why did you put 2 different wheels on the car? Just to decide which is better?

Those SVN's look amazing on the car!

I would have never thought of bronze on a silver car, but that is just sick! Daylight pics? (or 18's in that finish photoshopped onto a Ti gray MS6?)

The SVN's in bronze are oh so nice....IMO they would look better on red though. ;)

Thanks for the compliments. Two wheels on the car = one photoshoot; it's a sheer time saver. I personally like the bronze look on the car, but of course, that's just me ;)

I really like the bronze one's, the others I am not feeling so much. Looks really good with a drop as well.

A drop is pretty much required on the Miata. Not sure why it's not lower from the factory?! It's a roadster after all.

those bronze wheels look so good, the car needs a factory front lip and maybe sideskirts

Looks good! But I bet she would look amazing if she were lower and some much lower offset wheels!

I love the staggered look on smaller cars like MX-5's and S2000's
I have a set of Rota's on my WRX and will be getting some new ones soon
