If you guessed a cobb fmic then you are correct..
It took me about 5hrs to install with a few breaks. It wasnt hard to install either but it was tight.I havent had much of a chance to drive it yet but Im sure its much better then stock.I did the cobb logo in red to match my brake calipers and it seems to look pretty good even tho my wife hates it..She says Im not 19 anymore and need to start acting my age.
I have my DP sitting here waiting to be installed but Im not in the mood to do it today so I guess I cant move to stage 2+ fmic just yet.

very clean install.....I like the COBB in red a lot! See....if you were 19 and doing it everyone would tell you to stop being one of "those kids"....then when you're an adult people tell you to act your age....so when's an ok age to do it then? Haha. Looks great man, give an update and let us know how it is on the road.

Ha, act your age, maybe we don't want to . how about that. Looks very aggressive, and I am sure you will be pleased from all reports. When I asked the ex old lady what do you think of the wheels as she had not noticed for about a week}bronze{ she said they look dirty, and a girl at work said gee they are not very shiny I thought guys like shiny stuff! Go figure. Be sure to let us know your performance reports sir.

dam, i was going to guess that you installed NOS stickers all over your car. I guess a FMIC is just as good.

Thanks for the comments all..I got it from a vendor and it cost $995.I just got it in on Friday so I painted the intercooler friday so it would be dry for the install even tho I put the 4th coat of color on Sat. morning it was dry enough.
I dont know if this kit works with all cai but it does with the MS intake as you can see.Oh and all my NOS stickers dont get here till next week because they are on backorder everywhere..LOL

too bad I bought all the Type-R stickers since those give much more HP than the NOS stickers. Plus, you can only use your NOS stickers for a small amount of time and then they're spent. Jeez you're such a ricer doood. :D

Shit I should have thought of that. Oh well I guess I'll just have to turn up my Vtec to full power and install that full 6" exhaust and hope I can beat you with all my Type-R stickers....

Because if a COBB employee sees me on the street they will give me a free windbreaker...

I'm sure the paint has to have some sort of negative effect on thermal efficiency. Unless of course you used thermal paint. :)

There has been a lot of talk about this that i've read and not that i know a dam thing about it but, from what i read it sounds like paint does not make a difference for the intercooler's efficiency

I supposed that as long as the air can flow through the IC, you're fine. The paint is really covering very little of actual surface area.

ya, I cant see how that little bit of paint would make any diffrence in cooling.

I love it..There dont seem to be any lag that I can tell.It was 90 degrees out today and the power seems to be there even after sitting at all the stop lights going to work. Its hard for me to give a good review because I changed my AP map at the same time.I very happy because it seems to work great and it looks nice also.

I think "I love it" is the best review you could give a car or parts you have installed.
