i've been having the same problem i think. Its like a tiny squeak but annoying as hell. I only hear it with the windows down pretty much. The dealer wouldnt fix it because they said it must have happened from my oversized tires and rims. I think i've determined its coming from the brakes though. at first i thought it was the suspension.

its every time i drive so its nothing that i couldnt recreate but my dealer is a little less than an hour away and with gas the way it is thats far enough of a drive to shun me away from going for now. i dont think its anything huge just like you said annoying. im glad....sort of....that theres more than just me so i know its a universal problem that maybe if one of us gets it we can all be rest assured.

ah ur in MA ... what dealer? The dealer I normally use is also an hour away but I really like using them...if its the same dealer I use and they could resolve the problem it'd be worth your drive...

i use the dealer in shrewsbury. im not sure the exact name of it but i know they are located right at the junction of rt 9 and 20 near the x-mas tree shop and sears outlet. theyve been awesome so far and the tech there is one of the number 1 techs for speeds in the country. same one you go to?

Sentry West ... I use 'em. I use the local spot for little things but when I want something taken care of that requires some work they ... well hopefully I'll be in next week and get back to ya. Its tough because I need to line up a rental each time.

yea sentry west. seriously good techs there. they are def thorough in what they do. i live in charlton right off of 20 so its about a 45 min drive for me but its far enough where i can only do a drop off too. ill prob set something up also within the next few weeks so whoever gets in and out first will be able to supply the solution to the other.

I have a clicking noise coming from my front driver side i took it to the dealer and they told me it was the brake pad clicking when stopping and going because the pad is like 1 millimeter or so to small so the pad shifts from front to back, when stopping and going. i don't know, is anyone else having this problem? also i am having a very quiet squeaking noise when i go over a bump.

Thats what they told me! They were so fuckin incorrect cuz it was my mount.

This is all you gotta say " so you mean if i drive one of your cars its going to do the same thing?" and then drive it :D

it was the mount?? Mine is over expansion joints not necessarily hard. Either way ... I still haven't brought mine in because I've been taking the train to work

Mine's been doing the same, like a squeeky clicky noise from the front end at low speeds over semi-rough roads, I will be taking it to the dealer next week.

I'm told I need my front mounts and struts replaced. Not sure if this is one or both and if its the same failure the car and driver report had. (I think it was car and driver). They didn't have the parts in stock so it will be back next week. I'll find out more hopefully when I pick it up this afternoon.

if i remember correctly bushing in the upper strut mount allows too much travel between the upper mount and strut. Sentry West in Shrewsbury, MA found it for me. g'luck. I can get the formal info in a week or so. they said its not bad to drive on just an annoyance that can be fixed.

Just got my car back today. They replaced the upper strut supports. They claim they still hear the noise but its definitive less. I didn't hear it at all on my drive from the dealer back to work but I took it easy and I've yet to head back to the shitty Boston roads still at work :'( The tech's wife just had a baby so he was out and didn't have an opportunity to take it for a spin to compare with his speed. They tell me it might be the same in all speeds but I doubt it. If its bad or comes back they said take it back for the Tech to work on it some more....

Are you sure that thisis whats causing the noise? i've had so many people check and they all say that everything looks good. Help me please!!!

That's what they tell me. If it comes back I'll bring it back...

I had a different noise under my front cowl but you could hear that from the cab ... windows rolled up driving at like 30 mph didn't take much to make that noise occur...

So, someone got a clear answer on the cause of that coin/ping sound from the front suspension?
I've been hearing that noise over bumps and cracks for some weeks. It's getting worst and consistent now. I'm due for a service in 1500 miles, it can wait until that time I beleive.

like i posted in another thread, there is a TSB for the bushings in the lower control arms. They go bad and the whole lower control arm has to be replaced.

It will cause a squeak noise when they are bad.

My made the noise today, then I went over a bump and it stopped. It's the second time it has made the noise since I bought the car over 6k miles ago. I guess I'll just wait until I can reproduce the noise consistently so I can show the dealer, unless someone pinpoints the problem so we can take them in and get them fixed.

Which Tech worked on your car. I didn't realize Omar was out on Paternity leave. The Service writer Dick told me that there were three speeds in the same day as me and the tech said all three sounded the same. I'm going to have to talk to them about that.

I don't know which tech worked on it. They called me and told me to bring it back if it comes back and Omar can look at it, but I mentioned others have stated they have the same problem and he told me my car was the first one they've seen with this particular problem so either I have something completely different going on or something screwy is going on.

...Omar get's back. I think it maybe one of those situations where a different tech worked on it. But I'm not that concerned. I've had great luck with Sentry. They've never let me down.

well the reason they said bring it back if it continues they'll have him drive it since he owns one he may be able to compare ... ya their good the only concern is I just noticed my driver's side rear brake rotor is not wearing properly. I have two wear marks on the exterior of the rotor and interior of the rotor. There is a center "stripe" where no wear is present. What bothers me is that the car was just in and they checked off brakes were excellent so that means they didn't look OR it just happened over this last week which I find a little hard to believe... but who knows.

I am having the same issues! It drives me crazy and mine is an 07 as well. I took mine to the dealers and they said mine were good but when I come to a slow stop I can kind of feel the car wobble like if the rotors are warped or something and it does squeek sometimes

i get the same noise and i have a friend who use to have a speed and he had the same noise. lol it gotta be somewhere. has anyone had a brake job on the front and still have the noise? anyone with coilovers have the same noise? gotta be a process of elimination... i havent had either yet so i can not say. i have lowering springs and sway bars and still have the noise. so it aint that! lol what else can it be?

Thought I was the only one with these noises, but apparently there's a whole lot.... The noises started a few weeks after I installed the Cobb Springs and sway bars, so I thought it had something to do with that but it doesn't sound like clunking, more like squeeking.... I hear the noise from the front right everytime I brake at low speeds and hit bumps at low speeds.
I'm going to Surgeline tuning in Portland next Saturday and have them take a quick look at it. I'll keep you guys posted.
