Ok, I have a strange problem perhaps you guys might know the answer too.

Well every time its raining or i'm driving in the rain my shifter acts all crazy. I have the TWM SS, and Kartboy bushings. When I put the car in neutral I have to force it side to side and it will stay where ever i leave it (as in all the way left or all the way right instead of returning to the middle like normal). It has a ton of extra vibration. It also makes a loud clicking noise at times.

Any ideas?

I'm thinking that it might have something to do with the fact that I don't have the heat shield on (twm ss + 3" TBE = too much banging) and water is getting up in the bearing or something.

Post up!

Try lubricating your shifter bushings with a marine lube. If that doesn't work then you have a detent issue.

you're probably missing that rubber dust boot at the bottom of the shifter
