2009 Mazda Speed

Edit- I have been informed that this is the type RS mazda speed, not the mazdaspeed they would release next year instead of the 3 (why I posted in the fist place)

one thing that really annoys me about mazda lately.....they're starting to love the huge mazda emblems a la Ford.

I see "roadster" on the poster. Is there a soft-top besides the MX-5?

man does that thing look sexy. i was always a huge fan of the late model rx-7 and the new rx-8, but i couldnt afford the downgrade in mileage and practicality along with the price boost.

i'd lsure ove to snatch a set of those rims for my ride tho(thumb)

Shoot, I'd like to have some good ol' reg'lar RX-8 wheels on my MS3. Those wheels look like they have the color inserts in the spokes. Wonder if there'll be any in white for our CWPs?

In Japan, the MX-5/Miata is known just as the "Roadster" or "Eunos Roadster."

I just love that the MS3 can beat the sh*t out of the RX-8 in straight line. I had 4 people in my car and I whooped the heck out of one. Then I had my friends roll down the window and wave. lol

The Wankel engine is not known much for bottom-end grunt.

hopefully they resolve that low torque problem and soon. otherwise thats a beautiful car.

They changed the final gear this year acceleration in the first 5 gears should be better. As it stood before the car was roughly about half a second behind an MS3 to 60 and in the 1/4 mile from a standing start.

They sure are quirky. One of the ladies where I work has one. New motor at only 26K. She's had to have it towed twice when it wouldn't start only because she moved it while at work. From what I've read, if you don't warm it up, it floods and won't start. That seems to be 'bout as dumb as my Mom's '03 LeSabre which has the battery UNDER THE BACK SEAT!

When I was at the dealer getting my third key done, there was a RX-8 getting a "new" motor. I just read they've stretched the motor warranty to 8y/100K miles. I thought they'd fixed the rotor seal problems years ago!
