anyone here use that grill off of ebay for like 40 bucks? i know its drastically cheaper than the real one, but is it a terrible product? i dont really want to shell out 200 bucks. im pretty sketched out by most ebay products, but i check almost nightly. also, I'm sorry if this has been discussed 10,000 times already, im too tired to work the search function.

Don't be too tired to work the search function...it will surely cover this topic. The fitment of this product is most likely subpar, although, there are a few aftermarket grills on ebay (usually $70 and up) that do fit properly.

link to said grill?

Thats how you get around paying Ebays high fees.
Low Prices and high SHipping.

Nothing wrong with that IMHO.
Ebay should just be a bit more reasonable with threr pricing.

Shipping isnt Subject to the Fee.

It was a pain to get it to fit like that. One side was higher than the other and we had to punch holes in the over hang on the backside and user wire tires to pull it down. Also there aren't any predrilled holes in it so you'll have to do that yourself as well. Plus I paid around $100 to have a professional shop paint it to match. All in all I spent about $150.00 and about $10 on the emblem.

Also I had used spray paint (flat black) the hood latch arm and the horn so they wouldn't be visible.

dont do it!! fitment is crap!! i do have this grill though if u want to try to make it work!! went through 2 ebay grills that didnt fit at all! if u do get an ebay grill get the carbon fiber one! i think fitment on that one would be alittle better!! but like i said i have that exact same grill if u want to buy it off me and try to make it work!!

wow sounds like a headache. I almost bought that grill but decided to go with the stock with a painted upper lip and painted emblem.
