Rear wheel hub

I was just wondering if anyone knew if the abs ring will come off of the rear hub or is it tack welded. I need to change out the driverside rear but they sell two seperate hubs. One with the ring and one without.

Why not just get it with the ring so you don't have to mess with the old one? Generally speaking- the rings come off using a 3 jaw puller and are pressed on. Damage occurs very easily when trying to do this though.

Well, I have the tools and place to do that knid of work but it is half the price for just the hub without the ring.
