Garage kept here, but that is fucked up.
Matter of fact I seen where a man was getting his stuff stolen from his car in his driveway, so he setup a survelance, and had some stuff in plain view in hope that the perp would try to steal it. He caught the paperboy red handed and had it all recorded, it was awesome.

Now I don't think killing someone would be smart, but if they love mazda and logos so much, you need to "brand" them when you find out who it it, that would be sick!

what I don't get is why steal just the badging? I mean, you can get a brand new badge pretty cheap online or at a junk yard even. Not worth the jailtime at all if you get caught, plus you prob. just end up damaging the emblem in the hurry to get it off.

Honestly I believe someone's life isn't worth taking for a radio, or a damn Navigator, but at the same time you're taking a risk stealing from ANYONE. Too bad his mother didn't teach him that.

But on a bad note, the guy who shot and killed the teen ended up going to jail. He was on probation and wasn't supposed to have access to a gun. His gf more than likely lost her job over the incident also, because she was a police officer and he used her police gun to shoot the teen with.

he called the cops afterwards and asked them what he can do and not do..

the cop answered, once he's in the house he can "panic and tumble down the stairs" ya know..

each state is different. you pop up in my house uninvited, I can pop your ass.(gun)

Here are major provisions of Texas' castle law:
•It presumes you are reasonable in using deadly force if someone – illegally and with force – enters or is attempting to enter your occupied home, car or workplace. You are not given this presumption if you provoked the person or were engaged in a crime.
•It removes your obligation to retreat if possible before using deadly force if you are anywhere you have a right to be. The previous law obliged you to retreat if a "reasonable person" would have, except in a situation where someone unlawfully entered your home.
•It gives you added protection from lawsuits by injured attackers or their families. The previous law granted this protection if someone illegally entered your home, but not in other situations.

This teaches crooks to stay the fuck out of places where they're not supposed to be!

In TX the provisions for CHL and Castle laws are slightly different depending on the situation. Either way crooks better think twice of who they are jacking stuff from here.

In florida...leon county specifically....if they're on your property it's enough to justify use of firearms....if you kill them though, you've got to prove they presented an immediate threat to your safety. This is kind of a loop hole you can imagine since...well....if you kill them there's no one to testify against you.

In NE you had to give a verbal warning telling them to leave your property and you were armed before you fired

In VA they had to present an iminant danger....whether in or outside of your house.

Keep in mind NE and VA laws might have been updated since I lived there...like someone else said, it differs by state and even county.

i remember hearing about that, what about the dude in baltimore that saw a man stealing his rims off his benz shot and killed him and was charged with manslaughter. wtf?!

They don't want us to take the law in our own hands. Well, the police need to respond quicker in my opinion. I don't know exactly what their workload is, but when I need them I need them like right now.

I had an incident where I turned my car on with the automatic starter. Some kid (couldn't have been more than 15) gets out of the passenger side of a tinted '90s Maxima and pulls on the drivers side door handle. I'm walking towards the car with my 2 oldest kids, and I ask him "did you lose something over there?" He starts to talk sh*t to me, kinda low, but the closer I get to him the lower his voice gets, and he gets back in the Max. I tell my kids to get in the car and they take off. I take off after him (yeah, I know, not smart) and he gets away (hey, it wasn't boosted yet(lol2)). Plus hitting speed bumps doing 50 isn't a good idea, especially if you're lowered.

I flag down an officer and tell him the direction they went plus the tag number, and he drives the wrong way! Then I call the police and they say too much time has passed and there is nothing they can do. Huh? I tell them if they come back they'll be notifying the boys mother that he met an untimely death, then they say if that happens they'll take me to jail. Needless to say I haven't seen any more black tinted Maximas near my home.

Yep. I pity the would be thief who meets my neighbor that has a shotgun. (boom06)

Cops can't get to every burglary in progress in time. I have called them before and one officer was literally down the road. The police got there in 2 minutes, but the suspect still got away.

Once word gets around people can go vigilante on their own property, this will deter a lot of burglaries and thefts. Now, the thieves have to fear that the owners can come out and shoot their asses besides going to jail.

Yeah someone broke into my car on vets day last year. I was sleeping (being in the military we had the day off), the cops knocked at my door. I answered it in my underwear. To come to find out yea, someone broke in my car and just ripped the gauges off of the pillar. Didn't steal them or anything else in the car. Just ripped them off and ripped out all the wiring. What a waste of money. No more gauges on pillars for me.

I ordered a set of Mazdaspeed valve caps for my wheels a few years ago. I thought they were friggin' awesome.

Put 'em on my MSP just before heading into work that evening, around 4pm. Around 6pm, I realized I'd left something I needed in my car, went outside .. and the valve caps were all gone.

They were on my MSP for two hours before some fucker stole 'em.

I hate teenagers. They played a BIG part in why I wound up getting my windows tinted so darkly. I don't want anyone being able to see in, to know what kinda stuff I have in my car. I also moved my alarm LED up from the center portion of the gauge cluster to the driver's side of the dashboard -- so it's really obvious when the alarm is armed. Amazingly enough (knock on wood!), I haven't had any problems.

I got a fun story for you.......about 2 years and some change ago, when I was still living up in NJ, I just left the Menlo Park Diner, probably around 12:30am, I start my car up and let it warm up. My windows were tinted and the light were off, these kids in a saturn threw an egg at my car and sped off,.....I kinda have a short fuse, so I took off after them with all my lights off so they couldnt really see me. After about maybe a mile of driving they turned off into a park where there were no lights. I guess they figured I wasn't following them....So they parked and were smoking in the car....I am a baseball player and I had my bats in the trunk.......I parked at the other end of the parking lot, got my back and crept over to the back of their car.

I popped out to the side of the car and swung my bat on the Passenger side front door( you know the saying an eye for an eye)......the two guys in the car looked like they were maybe fresh into college( plus there was a Rutgers University sticker on the rear winshield) they let the only 8 yr old girl scared shitless screams out like they had just seen a ghost........After that, I almost fell on the floor laughin, but I let them know not to be messing with people cause they would never know if they mess with the wrong person.

Two days later they paid for the stripping and reclearing of my door, because its not the egg yolk that does damage the egg shells can crack your paint.

I came out of work one day an my car and all the cars of the people i worked with had at least two flat tires. some damn kids had taken our valve caps off, put a small rock in them and screwed them back on partially so the rock would push the pin in. lucky for us we were giving people who opened bank accounts those cheap portable air compressors. we burned three up trying to partially fill four cars tires enough to go to a gas station. we got lucky.
