Bad thermostat?

Afer an overheating issue, My climate control will only stay in the open(blowing very very hot air). I try turning the knob from cold to hot and it only goes half way. I Can't hear the vent door shut or open.

I don't know what to do, but it really sucks driving my car cause of the hot hot hot air and it doesn't cool down with the AC..

ANy suggestions on what I Can do?

If the cold/hot knob only goes half way...the line is probably jammed somewhere. there is a line running from the back of the cluster to the a/c vent hatch. look under the dash on the driver and passenger sides just behind the a/c cluster. on both sides youll see the line (silver) hooking up to a plastic pin on each side. Check and make sure there is no obstruction between the two end points. Theres also a clip that holds these lines in places right before their end points from the climate control panel.

Thanks! There doesn't appear to be a clip there. I think its missing. I'll run it to the dealer for the part.
