Our traction control is really sensitive

I drive on a gravel driveway fairly frequently. Even while creeping along at 10MPH and not giving it hardly any gas, I sometimes see the Traction Control light come on. Amazing it can tell I'm on a slippery surface when I'm not even spinning the front wheels.

with the dsc on, i find my traction control light coming on sometimes at really slow speeds.
with dsc off, i've only seen the traction control light once

It doesn't do it every time either, maybe it has to do with how dry the gravel is? Damp today from last night's thunderstorms.
