I think my wga is bad! i am boosting up to 10psi and sometimes more. it just started doing this. i replaced all vac lines and there were no cracks. i took off the wga vac line from the mani and i could blow air into it. it also makes this whining sound like pinching the end of a balloon when i am at idle and about 2 seconds after i shut off the car. any opinions?

sounds like a vacuum leak, could be at the actuator

have you tried the blow test? if not, blow into it.. if the diaphram moves, then it needs changed, if not, could be a vac t or something you are over looking..

first post said he blew into the line, unless you mean something else.
the actuator is not repairable, it must be replaced

are you using an air hose or just blowing with your mouth?

with my mouth into the end of the hose.
If you can blow into the WGA boost line AT ALL, then your WGA is failing and needs to be replaced.
You shouldn't be able to get ANY air through the wastegate actuator by just using your lungs.
