pro5 issues?

I have what seems to be a very common problem with the sedan version of the Protege, which is that after time, the trunk begins to leak and the side pockets tend to retain water. The reasoning for this statement is that I am considering trading my car for a P5, not due to this condition, but because I need more room...but I am curious as to whether there are any common issues that the P5 has?
