no.

its a catback.

mid-pipe i guess means middle pipe?if its a cat-back,it goes from the catalitic converter to the back,so the middle pipe is there..
correct me if i am wrong..

I think he Meant "Axle Back"
A cat back would include the Midpipe..and I dont think the RB does.

the midpipe goes between the header, and the resonator...

the racing beat comes with 3 pieces

the resonator, an s like pipe, and the axleback.

the corksport has an the mipipe in it. but i believe the resonator and s like pipe is one piece.

On a regular exhaust system, you have;the headers-the front pipe with flexible-the cat-the midpipe wich has the resonator on it-the S-pipe-and the axle-back with the muffler...

call any autoparts store and ask for a mid-pipe,you ll see...

i dont know what the arguement is here...

the racing beat is a catback exhaust... It attaches to the stock midpipe.

How does something so easy turn into a debate on the semantics of the protege exhaust..

Stock --- Exhaust Manifold - Primary Cat-Canister - "J"-Pipe - Mid-pipe with Cat - "Z" pipe with resonator - Axle-back with muffler

Catback refers to replacing the exhaust from the Cat-back...so only "Z" pipe and axle back portion..

Corksport replaces "J" pipe back...
