Here's a pic of the Defi Red Racer boost gauge I installed. Putting it down there was more work than I thought but I like it. It's a little off center to the left though.

I like it... of course I would want it somewhere that I could see it while driving and not take my hands off the wheel.

I had the radio replaced the other day and I never bothered taking it out.

Sits to low to be practical. Center vent or drivers side vent would be more realistic if you want to monitor boost while driving.

i put mine there as well...and mine is also off center

Where would you put it if you happen to like your air conditioning? Can't give up my vents and am looking for ideas... I like this space, and will really only use it to set my MBC once...

ventpod! use a 52mm gauge and you're good to go, it allows for airflow even with the gauge in place

Not a chance. I need the flow directors of the stock vent.
