What is the smallest wheel that will fit over the 10" brakes on the Mazda 3? I've got a set of 215/60/15" steelies with Blizzak WS-50's that would go perfect with the 3 if they fit.

Also, what's the bolt pattern of the Mazda 3's?

i don't think a 15" will fit on our cars unless it has a god awful amount of offset. correct me if i'm wrong.

The base sedan has 15 inch steel wheels. Are the brakes different between the base sedan and the hatchbacks?

I would think 15 inches would be sufficient to clear 10 inch brakes. My 01 focus had 10 inch brakes and 15 inch rims worked just fine. I believe the spare on that car had a 14 inch rim.

Isn't the spare tire for the 3 on a 15 inch rim?

Finally, if you already have the set sitting there... jack up the car and give it a try.

We don't have the car yet actually. I'm trying to see if my set will fit my gf's new 3 that we are waiting for, it hasn't arrived yet.

Another question, when I had these steelies on my Grand Am, they exposed the hub and the hub started to rust. I assume the same will happen on the 3, unless I get hub caps right?
