A few questions
So there are no performance cams for the FP-DE at all, then...?! Or what?
Someone mentioned NGK spark plugs as an good investment, but with the diffrence in pump-gas here in europe (Denmark) and in the US, I'm unsure of any effect.
Any help will be appreciated
thanks

Here are some sites you might want to check out!
Unfortunately, the 1.8 only have the cam gears here...

This is what I use, they are amazing!!! ...they are a bit pricey at $8 a plug ...

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the reply
I will look into the spark plugs and se if there are to be found here.
And I'm guessing the difference in octane in the fuel here and in the US has nothing to do with them...
Thanks

92 (mostly for cars pre '80)
95 -the one I and 95% of all others use...
and a brand new 99 octane, (simelar to the 100 octane they have in Germany I guess) for the performance cars.
I believe you have sligtly lover octane petrol over there, right?? I'm told that usually American vertions of cars have lover kompression because of this. Or so it was earlier.

we usually have 87 as the lowest and 93 as the highest...
the octane gets much lower in the mountains, since there is less dense air
they get from 80 to 85 octane
and in some of the midwestern states such as Iowa is a good example, there are a lot gas stations with E85 or 85% ethonal...but that's a different discussion...

Well, thanks for the replys...
Petrol is not an issue then, I guess...
Regarding Ethanol. They have it in sweden, but since it "raises" the kompression, it's not used here. I think you need a piston change to run it... can't remember how much ethanol they have/use in the fuel mix though...
Thanks again
Niels
