View Full Version : What should be the next Mod?

So I am at the point where I have a good list of mods under my belt on my 08Speed3 and am looking to fellows speedsters on what the next performance modification should be. I will prolly do a couple image/appearance mods to the car before dipping back into the performance area but its always nice to get peoples views/opinions/suggestions before hand. Right now I have the Cobb SRI, Custom FMIC, CPE Catless Downpipe Midpipe combo and am just about to pull the trigger on the PG manifold and step colder plugs. What should the next mod be for the car? I was thinking either CDFP or Turbosmart MBC? Any opinions are appreciated..

WHat about the standback for a tune or maybe the AP?You must be needing a tune with the mods you have.The mbc and a map clamp may be a good idea also..

Yeah I havent really done any hardcore research on the standback options or the AP so that is also a good option to look at. Thanks for chimming in.

your next mod is to show some pics of those sportline springs installed! :) I want to see hwo they look on 17 DV8! Why not go with 18s tho?

Basically I didnt wanna spend a crap load on tires... 18" tires are crazy expensive compared to 17". So thats why haha. Here are some pics.

I did the bezel dome lights in black to just dont have any pics of it yet. Hope these are what you wanted. I got more though if you want more detailed ones.

Pretty shitty in all honestly... you feel every bump or rock and its then magnified like 10 times what it actually is. Ive had them on the car for around 8k miles I think and have already blown all 4 shocks and the ride is very bouncy with them. I do like the corners.. but still I havent been to crazy with them. I still have a crap load of understeer on really sharp turns. I wouldnt recommend them at all.

I will suggest a set of coilovers, it should make the ride 10x's better.

ooo! and you got your bumper fixed too!

...i remember when i came down to pick up your p5 seat i asked how your new MS3 drives, and you said, "...fast...scares the hell out of me" ...lol
...only if my pro scares me as much... ;-P

i bet your interior is silky smooth too!
