Hello everybody, I am looking for bike rack. While surfing Rack Outfitters, I found the web site for Saris bike rack and to my surprise after doing the "fit for a rack" search, they have result for trunk rack while Thule and Yakima says that nothing will fit on the 5 trunk. As anybody looked in to this already.
Thanks for your help and thanks to all for the great forum.

I would be very hesitant to use a trunk/hatch mount bike rack on a Mazda5. Most racks of this type use tethers with hooks to stabilize the rack, and these hooks are attached to the edes of the trunk/hatch.
The Mazda5 hatch outer panel is made of plastic. Putting a hook on the edge of that panel and pulling it tight to stabilize the rack sounds like a recipe for disaster to me.
Has anyone else mounted this type of rack succesfully, I wonder?

Get a trailer hitch and a hitch mount rack. That's what I have.
