All,

I have a friend who totaled his Mazda 3 and is willing to give me his rims and tires. The million dollar question is will these rims and tires work on my Mazdaspeed 3? I thinking about using them over the winter months for a better ride and traction in the snow v. purchasing tires for winter driving... Anyone know if this will work and have experience with these rims on their Speed 3?

Thank you,

I think as long at they are the 17's they should fit fine. Why not take 1 and try it over your fronts and make sure before you buy them.

I know that pre-07 M3 17: wheels (the 5-spoke) will clear MS3 brakes. Word is still out on the 07+ multi-spoke, but how could you possibly choose to uglify your MS3 with those monstrosities?

Probly wants them for winter wheels.

I actually like the '04-'06 17" stockers. They have a kinda-sorta RX-8 shinka look if you squint the right way... and the sun is facing east...

Anyway, I'd rock them for winter wheels.

I use a set of the 17 inch '07 Snowflake rims for winter rims.

The 16 alloys will probably fit, too.
