rattle on start up

i went to start my 07 ms3 the other day and when i started it, i heard a rattle for about 1-2 seconds then it sounded normal. it only does this when i start it after it sits a while. any ideas what could it be?

Sounds like the VVT TSB on that link. My wife's CX7 had the same noise.

I bet that is it exactly. Take it to the dealer. 3.5 hrs and they will have it good as new.
