Great Forum! Help WIth 1999 LX Protege!

Well Hello everyone this is my first post and would like to start by saying great site and would appreciate the help.

Well I have a 1999 white mazda protege lx is fully stocked but do have 17 inch chrome rims.

i would like to know how to increase the appearence of my car without adding a body kits i heard the f**d up your car as time passes by..

basically i would like to add a front lid, read lid.. side skirts... clean headlights and some rear lights that match the headlights.. also some fog lights and if you guys have some bodykits ideas hell i might even try it.. i dont have to worry much about money problems do have a nice job..

help me start with the car and i would let you guys know about the progress and show pics about my car.. you guys will help me make my car better i know that for a fact great site.. and excuse me if im outruling a tos..

The body kit is made by Erebuni and it's in the Shogun style. I have it (except different sideskirts) and I love the look. Good construction as well. Here's a website I found that still sells it. http://www.gofastperformance.com/product_info.php?products_id=961

so yeah now that i see where they sell the body kit which i think the price aint bad at all i might be ordering that in about a month or a month and a half from now.. first i wanna know everything and the rest of the parts

so now that we have the bodykit.. where can i find those headlights or some other that will look good with that body kit and what kind of fog lights would i need to buy and links or website would be greatly appreciated. =]

and to jigsaw im sorry i wouldnt be able to go to canada =\ but thanks though

You can find those headlights on ebay, just do a search for 99-00 protege headlights.

I have those. I installed them a while back and I really like them better than the stock headlights. Here's a picture. I think they would still look good with a white car.

Installation for the bumper is really easy, it's basically unscrewing a few nuts and swapping them out. I've easily been able to take the bumper off when I do some changes. You just need some socket wrenches. For paint I had mine painted for around $300. (with a coat of pearl in it.) So I'm not sure how much it'll be for painting everything. Stop by some bodyshops and compare prices. What you could always do for your headlights is get the clear corners...it might go better with the white.

So if anyone knows of a place I can get some please let me know.. Not ebay cuz I looked and couldn't find anything tat I was looking for..

I would probably stay with your original headlights, there isn't really a choice for ones that go with those corners.

I really don't know where to get the foglights for the kit... you could always talk to someone from Erebuni and see if they could help you out.

Also I haven't seen a white version of my car. I'll be looking foreward to see it! :D
