Do a search in the how-two section, it's there.

Amazing... in the How-To forum, there's a How-To titled HOW TO: Change your own oil (http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123667276). Thanks, never would've made that connection on my own.

Lol, i just spent a while lookin on here last night lookin for where it is. Problem is tho, i was retarded and after draining all the old oil out, i put the new in before changeing the filter... So now ill have to wait until the next oil change to do the filter... SHould be ok, right?

Try your owner's manual. Or just crawling under and taking a look.

ProTip: It's not a conventional screw-on filter.

Well, the filter housing is pretty unique looking, so why not just crawl under your car and look around until you see it?

under the car, front of the engine block, middle of that. black cap with an allen head drain plug in it. the drain plug is straight back from that. oil fill plug is that big red piece of bling under the hood on the pasangers side of the engine it says mazdaspeed on it. oil goes in there 6 qts to be exact. and then on the front of the block middle of it there is this yellow ring thats attached to the dip stick. you have to pull it out cleer it of oil then reinsert all the way then when you pull it out the second time it will read correctly.
